پاسخ سوالات بالا
1- Is it always important to win at any price?
Winning brings many benefits for children's development such as an increase in self-esteem, confidence boost and strategic thinking skills. With winning at all costs, however, the experience that children have in sport is often inhibited by well-intentioned adults and it becomes very unenjoyable
2- In your opinion, how can sportsmanship be encouraged?
3- The best way to promote sportsmanship is through the enforcement of specific rules. How far do you agree?
In my view, nothing will be beneficial regarding rules. The rules are too strict and they won’t be a good way to promote.
4- Do you think professional athletes have a duty to serve as role models, even if they don't want to be?
Some people think an athlete has an obligation to act as a role model in society and some do not think so. This can be debated by both sides. The definition of role model is defined by Google as a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated. In my idea, I totally disagree. The athlete’s main concern is to play the sport and to play it well. If other people such as fans want to see an athlete as a role model, that is their choice. The fact if a player is or is not a role model is subjective. It also depends on what an individual defines what characteristics make a role model.
5- Hooliganism is on the increase in many countries, in your opinion, what are the main causes?
6- How does hooliganism hurt the spirit of healthy competition?
With this being said, the influence of alcohol, political conflict, and police handling are all causes of the issue. Other causes are simply the fact of a favorite team losing, causing frustration and anger, as well as a team giving an unsportsmanlike performance, setting the tone for their fans.
7- How can violence taking place at sports events be prevented?
Putting athletes on pedestals and above the rules (i.e. lower academic standards, bending or ignoring team or league rules to avoid suspension of star athletes) promoting a culture where racism, sexism and homophobia are tolerated, and. promoting or at least tolerating on and off-the-field violence.
8- Television cameras shouldn't record crowd disturbances during sporting events, such as football matches.' What do you think? What do you think should be done about football hooligans?
Violence in sports usually refers to violent and often unnecessarily harmful intentional physical acts committed during, or motivated by, a sports game, often in relation to contact sports such as American football, ice hockey, rugby football, lacrosse, association football, boxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling, and water polo and, when referring to the players themselves, often involving excessively violent or potentially illegal physical contact beyond the normal levels of contact expected while playing the sport. These acts of violence can include intentional attempts to injure a player or coach by another player or coach, but can also include threats of physical harm or actual physical harm sustained by players or coaches by fans or those engaging in the spectating of sports, or threats and acts of violence performed by fans or spectators upon opposing fans or other spectators. So that these factors can negatively influence people’s minds. As a result, these actions are banned to show.
9- How do you feel about ' battle/war of nerves '?
It is a situation in which two opposing people or groups are trying to weaken each other psychologically, for example by frightening each other, in order to get what they want without taking any direct action.
